About Us

Welcome to Simple Oz Guide!

I am a certified NDIS Support Worker based in Australia. My journey into the disability support sector began after a major turning point—deciding to leave a 10-year career to pursue a more meaningful path in helping others.

To ensure the highest quality of care and professional standards, I completed a rigorous Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course, including 120 hours of hands-on clinical placement. This experience provided me with deep insights into the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) sector and the real-world challenges faced by both participants and support workers.

Why I started Simple Oz Guide: Navigating the NDIS and building a career in Australia can be overwhelming. Through this blog, I aim to:

  • Share practical, first-hand tips for aspiring NDIS Support Workers.

  • Provide easy-to-use tools (like NDIS calculators) to help people manage their services.

  • Document my journey of career transition and settling into life in Australia.

Whether you are looking for advice on disability support work or tips on navigating life in Australia, I hope Simple Oz Guide becomes a valuable resource for your journey.

Thank you for visiting!
